How Legible Papers works

Clear summaries of AI and machine-learning papers.

What the site does

New AI and machine-learning papers appear on arXiv and Hugging Face every day. Legible Papers publishes summaries of a small selection of them.

Each summary is based on the paper text and links to the original. Some articles also include a glossary, diagram, or short code example. How AI is used explains what gets checked before publication.

Who it's for

  • Backend and frontend engineers who use AI in what they build but do not follow the research.
  • People building agents and LLM features who need to know what is now possible and what it costs.
  • Technical teams deciding whether a new result changes their roadmap.

Summaries assume you write software. They explain the machine-learning parts and skip the parts you already know.

Who runs it

Legible Papers is built and maintained by Felix Stubner. The summaries are generated by the pipeline described in how AI is used, and the editorial choices about which papers appear and how they are written are mine.
